What to do, what to say, what to be, what to think, what to write. So, who the frak am I anyway?

My name is Mark. I also go by "Z" and "Nightboy" in other online communities, and I have a few other nicknames among my RL friends that I won't list here because I'd rather they were forgotten.

Yeah. So, my deal is machinima. I got started with Warcraft III way back in the day when 1G of RAM was something to brag about. For the longest time I wanted to be a game developer, but always my attention drifted to the story, and the cinematography of telling that story. Take that to its logical conclusion and there you go. Or there I go, rather. (I'm into Moviestorm at these days.)

I really developed more refined artistic interests retroactively from that point. There's that.

As you may have noticed, I like sex in art. I just do. And I feel dirtier drawing a censor circle than I do drawing genitalia. I hate censorship with a passion, but that's a whole other rant. Moving on.

As of this posting, I only have a handful of images in my gallery. The erotic WoW manipulations all tie into various fiction works. (Yes, I'm a writer too. The one short chapter in my gallery is just the tip of that particular iceberg, but the majority of my written works are a bit to explicit for DeviantArt.)

Anyway, I want to try my hand at painting the next scene on my "to do" list from scratch, to see how it goes. I have the image I want to do in mind already, from my newest story. I think I can pull it off. I also want to give vector-drawing something a try, so that's the other thing I'll be trying in the near future.

After those, I don't know, I might go back to starting with an image manipulation, it depends I suppose, on how successful my attempts at drawing from scratch are.

I work pretty much entirely in Photoshop CS2 for these projects. The Pen Tool is EVERYTHING.

So okay, I've rambled on about my art. What else is going on in my life?

Moving on. So, I guess this will have to pass for a journal entry. It's the Turkey Day and the turkey is rapidly approaching a state of edibility. Time to go gorge. Hah.
